Palmawatch offers new Refit Management Service.

Originally a company created to provide maintenance and repairs, Palmawatch had to respond early in its life to a demand for project management, and therefore the team rapidly developed the know-how and the capability to offer a full range of tailored services via in-house expertise and/or specialised sub-contractor services.

“In the recent past, the demand for ever larger total refit projects has increased,” Palmawatch boss Pierre Oberon explained, “and with 15 years of solid performance to our credit, handling hundreds of repairs, haul-outs and refits on all types of vessel up to 30 metres, we are currently expanding further by setting up a dedicated Refit Managememt Service which will be called PalmaFits. This will give us the capability of handling major projects on vessels up to 60 metres. The new service will be a high performance offer designed to attract discerning owners, captains and managers of large luxury yachts who require a full competence managed refit realisation program.”

“The aim is to offer a fully transparent and distinctly professional service for #superyachts from 30m to 60m who are planning to refit in Palma. And where offered services are not in-house, we select and sub-contract the best suitable specialist for each project, or get bids and present various price/quality options to the customer based on our long time experience of the local market,” said Pierre.

The all important fiscal reporting on project progress milestones is also one of the key process elements which Palmawatch have proven expertise in, and the company are able to offer TPA exempt IVA (VAT) invoicing for qualifying yachts, which can result in significant savings on major refit project realisation costs.

Palmawatch operates in STP, the best-prepared open boat yard in the Western Mediterranean, with 5 travelifts up to 700 Tons, 70.000m2 ground surface, 35.000m2 surface mooring, and 6 keel pits for deep drafted sailboats.

And just around the corner from STP, on stand RR14 in the Repair & Refit Sector of the Palma Superyacht show, you are invited to drop by and visit Palmawatch to find out more about the company and our PalmaFits Concept.

From Friday 28th April to Tuesday 2nd May 2017.
